Our Programs
Happy Hollow provides guided learning through integrative stations and centers which are set up to present and expand on old and new ideas.
Our focus and commitment is to the whole child, which spans the creative, independent, self-confident, capable, unique child. We offer guided free play with materials that encourage imaginative thinking and creativity. We are focused on social-emotional skills, world exploration and cooperative learning, early literacy and general academics. Students within our program are mentored to reach their full potential as learners and individuals as we delve and immerse ourselves within an integrated curriculum based on social responsibility within a respectful community.
Infants Under 12 Months
Our infant program is completely de-voted to the well being of our infants. We provide our littlest munchkins with a quiet, serene atmosphere where they can play and learn and just be babies! We have separate play and nap rooms, allowing for a more relaxed, peaceful rest period. Our infants get to run the show in their class room, eating and sleeping on demand. Our high quality staff develop relationships with your baby, fostering optimal learning. They will play with colors, numbers and shapes, sing songs and look at books. All this along with the typical holding, cuddling and cooing that take place all day long. Our infant program is top-notch!
Young Toddlers 12 Months-24Months
Toddlers are naturally curious and eager little learners. Their brains are like sponges, absorbing all the knowledge they can, and that is why each day in our toddler program is filled with learning activities disguised as FUN! Our learning experiences are designed to promote a toddler’s blossoming independence, develop their social skills and foster self- confidence. Our teachers are knowledgeable about the ever changing development of toddlers and can easily adapt programs and activities to each individual child’s age and stage. You will love our program and will be amazed at just how much your toddler will learn in our Toddler Class!!
Older Toddlers 24 Months-36 Months
Our 2-3 year olds are so ready to learn how to be “big-kids” (ie—preschoolers.) The days in this class-room are more structured than in the toddler class, prepping them for the Preschool classes. They have daily circle time, arts & crafts, stories, songs, dancing, gym time, and lots and lots of POTTY TRAINING!!! Yes, that’s right…. learning to use the potty is an important life skill es-sential to developing independ-ence, and our teachers are PRO’s at partnering with YOU on this. Teachers are also working with your child on small motor skills such as holding crayons/pencils and cutting with scissors as well as the basic
ABC’s & 123’s of any preschool class!
Fun Fact!
Students that enter our program are NOT required to be potty independent! We do ask families to be ALL in and we support through the potty learning
process as we are a diaper free program in our Preschool 3-Kinder Eligible classes.
We provide Potty Learning Zoom meetings, parent education, and one on one family support through the potty learning process.
Preschool 3 Years - Kinder Eligible
Preschool is a time for children to expand their natural curiosity about the world around them as they work to construct knowledge, get along with others and utilize their interests and growing skills to reach out to the rest of the world. Our preschool program at Happy Hollow will activate, encourage and challenge the growth of each child's knowledge base, self-identity, independence, communication, creative problem solving, conflict resolution and self regulation skill sets while celebrating and respecting their unique character.
After School Club Kindergarden-3rd Grade
After school Club is a time for Kindergarten -3rd Grade kiddos to come spend their after-school time in a fun and safe environment. School days can be long, so we strive to offer a space to meet the needs for kiddos each day.
