About
School-Agers
We believe that while school-agers
are moving away from dependence on adults, they still need
guidance. Friendships and peers are becoming increasingly
important to them.
We think children need a variety of
multicultural experiences and activities to choose from because
the way to promote acceptance of others is to expose children to
cultural diversity.
We think children
need clear and consistent rules established to help promote
constructive behavior. We think that children need to learn
problem-solving techniques to help them resolve their own
conflicts.
We understand the needs of school-
agers and know how to set up an environment that meets their
needs well as promotes exploration, creativity and problem
solving.
